Supervising can be a daunting proposition. With our Peer Mentor Program, you can get tips and advice on how to be a good supervisor.

Excerpt from “Being a Good Supervisor”:

Good communication is key to a good working relationship. Here are some tips for communicating with your Personal Assistant in a positive way. If your disability affects how you communicate, be sure to explain this to your Personal Assistant and teach him or her how you like to communicate and how they should communicate with you.

How to Apply

To use CDPA you must have Medicaid. If you do not have Medicaid but think you may be eligible for Medicaid and CDPA, contact county’s Department of Social Services (DSS) or your Managed Care Organization (MCO).
